Day 01: Arrive in Beijing

Arrive in Beijing International Airport and be greeted by your guide who will escort you to the hotel, and the rest of the day is leisured.


Day 02: Beijing

Forbidden City, Beijing
We begin our discovery of this 2,000-year-old city at vast Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, seat of imperial power during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), and Summer Palace, the former royal retreat with beautiful gardens and temples that is now a lovely park attracting both visitors and locals. Tonight we savor a traditional Peking duck dinner, followed by a traditional opera - Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre. (B, L, D)


Day 03: Beijing

Great Wall
This morning we tour the Great Wall, the incredible collection of ancient defense installations (and UNESCO World Heritage Site) that stretches almost 4,000 miles from the East China Sea to Central Asia and where we visit the Ba Da Ling section by cable car. Than, we go to visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tombs. (B, L, D)


Day 04: Beijing to Xian

Terra-cotta Warriors
Our day begins with a rickshaw ride through Beijing ancient back roads and alleys (Hutongs). Here we visit the home of a local family for a rare glimpse of the traditional communal lifestyle that is fast disappearing; later, fly to Xian. When you arrive in Xian Xianyang International Airport and you will be greeted your guide who will escort you to the hotel, and the rest of the day is leisured. (B, L, D)


Day 05: Xian

Wild Goose Paglda, Xian
This day begins with a visit to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum which housing the army of 8,000 life-sized Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses that had lain buried and forgotten for more than two millennia. Each of these astounding Terra-cotta pieces has an individually sculpted face, standing in military formation in three separate underground building.A La Carte lunch will be arranged in a local restaurant near the Museum. After your amazing exploration of these fabulous sculptures, visit the revered Big Wild Goose Pagoda (652 AD), a well-preserved ancient building in a classical Buddhist temple, about 1,300 years old and a holy place for Buddhists. In the evening, indulge in a Tang Dynasty dumpling dinner and cultural show featuring traditional music, dance, and traditional costumes.   (B, L, D)


Day 06: Xian

Anwu Village, Xian
Today we tour the countryside of Xian. We drive to a typical village of Northern China - An Wu Village to feel the real-life of local farmers, in which we will visit a rural primary school, a rural clinic, local farmer's family and underground cave house as well as a local cattle farm and the ancient dwelling buildings come from more than 100 years ago. Lunch will be arranged in a local family, taste some local flavor. After than, we go to visit Hanyang Mausoleum which was built for the fourth emperor of Han dynasty 2000 years ago. The female Terra-cotta warrior was discovered from there. (B, L, D)


Day 07: Xian to Nanjing

Tigerfu, Shaanxi Museum
This day begins at impressive nine-mile City Wall, and a bicycle tour on the top of 600 years old city wall, visit famous Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, with an acclaimed collection of historic and cultural artifacts from different historical period of Shaanxi Province; After enjoying the a la carte lunch at a popular local restaurant, visit Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square, the center of the downtown area. Fly to Nanjing. When you arrive in Nanjing airport you will be greeted by your guide and escort you to the hotel.  (B, L, D)


Day 08: Nanjing

Linggu Temple, Nanjing
This day begins with a visit to Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, which was built on the Purple Mountain; Dr. Sun Yat-sen is the founding father of the Republic of China. Pass through massive gates and climb 392 marble steps and you'll arrive in front of the mausoleum with white walls and bright blue-tiled roof. And visit Linggu Temple which was built in 1381. It is a break vaulted edifice constructed without any wooden beams. The centerpiece of the Temple and the Linggu Pagoda, there is a great view of the thick green leafy carpet that cloaks of the Purple Mountain from the top. Later, we will go to the Qinhuai River Scenic Area Confucius Temple, once a center of learning, with imperial examination hall nearby. (B, L, D)


Day 09: Nanjing to Huangshan

Visit Tianchao Gong and Xu Garden, it once was headquarter of the Taiping Rebellion and finally, after the overthrow of the Qing empire, the palace housed the Republican Government, from where both Dr. Sun Yat-san and Chiang Kai Shek Ruled China. And we will visit the ancient Nanjing City Wall - Zhonghua Gate, which is surrounding Nanjing with an average height of 12m and width of 8m, but unfortunately the walls are no longer complete. Take train to Huangshan. When you arrive in Huangshan railway station, you will be greeted by your guide and escort you to the hotel.  (B, L, D)


Day 10: Huangshan

Huangshan
We begin our exploration of Mt. Huangshan at Yungu cable car station. As you begin to take the cable car to climb the mountain, you will find yourself among the magnificent scenery.  Enjoy the view of pines, Waterfalls, and hotsprings. And we go to visit Beginning to Believe Peaks, the Peach Blossom Valley, the Lion Peak, Stone Flow from Afar and the Bright Summit. Stay overnight at the hotel on the mountain. (B, L, D)


Day 11: Huangshan

Huangshan
This morning, our tour of Mt. Huangshan begins from catching the Mt. Huangshans magnificent sunrise. After Breakfast we go to visit the Cloud-dispelling Pavilion and the Xihai Grand Canyon. After lunch, take the cable car down the mountain and transfer back to Huangshan city. Visit the Tunxi Old Street. (B, L, D)


Day 12: Huangshan - Hongcun & Xide - Hangzhou

Hongcun, Huangshan
This morning, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Hongcun and Xidi, known for their Ming and Qing Houses. Hongcun is known as "a village in a Chinese Painting". Xidi has fine examples of classical Huizhou Architecture. In the afternoon drive to Hangzhou. (B, L, D)


Day 13: Hangzhou

West Lake, Hangzhou
This day begins with a boat-ride on heavenly West Lake which is the symbol of Hangzhou. Surrounded by gentle green hills, the lake's willow shaded Su Causeway and Bai Causeway, as well as fragrant cover of lotus blossoms have long been an inspiration for artists.  After the tour of West Lake, you will visit the ancient Lingyin Temple Scenic Area where we visit ancient temple builds, grand Buddhist rock carvings, Feilai Feng and beautiful landscape. After lunch continue the tour to Dragon Well Tea Plantation (Longjing Village) where you can see how the tea was made and taste a cup of tea, then, go to visit Huqingyu,s Pharmacy (Chinese Medicine Museum) where you can get some idea about Chinese Traditional Medicine. Day 14: Hangzhou to Shanghai

Take a soft-seated train to Shanghai. Arrive in Shanghai be greeted by your guide. Visit The Bund and Huangpu River, Shanghai broad and bustling waterfront boulevard that once was the center of European influence in the East.  (B, L, D)


Day 15: Shanghai

Yuyuan Garden, Shanghai
This day we tour the acclaimed Shanghai Museum, with its priceless collections of ancient Chinese bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings and furniture. And peaceful Yuyuan Gardens, a traditional Chinese garden with plantings, courtyards, pavilions, and create the illusion of mountains and lakes. Tonight we attend Chinese acrobatics show after dinner.  (B, L, D)


Day 16: Depart from Shanghai

Today your guide will escort you to the airport for your return flight home, or continue your tour that we Tailor-made for you. (B)
